William plays a key role in the management of the firm’s litigation, with a strong emphasis on negotiation and settlement. He has represented a broad range of properties, and his current area of practice includes both real and personal properties with a particular focus on retail centers, offices and hotels. With several years experience in commercial real estate before becoming a lawyer, William is equally adept at analyzing a properties financials, preparing valuation workups, and presenting legal arguments–all in order to serve the best interest of our clients. William began his legal career working with another prominent property tax firm, before opening Michel Gray’s San Antonio office.
William attained a Bachelor of Science degree from Samford University and his Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University. And, although William is married to a commercial real estate appraiser, who herself is the daughter and granddaughter of two of Texas’ most notable MAI’s, he insists that family gatherings are not spent talking solely about valuation theory (but he does admit that the subject does come up from time to time.)
