Robin Telle Sweazea joined Michel Gray Rogers in 2023 as the firm’s Administrator of Property Tax Services. As the former Deputy Chief Appraiser of Coryell Central Appraisal District, Robin has extensive knowledge and experience administering the Texas property tax. As Deputy Chief Appraiser, Robin managed the day-to-day operations of the appraisal district. Her responsibilities included commercial appraisal as a Registered Professional Appraiser (RPA), overseeing and processing notices, managing appraisal district appearances before the appraisal review board, reporting to the Property Tax and Assistance Division of the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, acting as the first line inquiry for staff information technology (IT) issues, handling exemptions, protests, transfers of ownership, agricultural and special valuation, and much more. Robin began her career in property tax in 1983, in the file room at the Williamson Central Appraisal District. There, she worked her way up to responsibility for property identification. After 3 years, Robin went to work for the Travis Central Appraisal District, where she worked in nearly every department, learning all aspects of appraisal district operations. She left TCAD in 2010 as the Assistant Director of IT. Robin brings a wealth of experience in all aspects of the Texas property tax to assist our clients with their property tax needs.
Robin has one daughter, who also works at MGR, and two grandsons who are the light of her life. She currently finds her home in rural Coryell County with her husband, dogs, cats and goats to keep her company.
